A huge congratulations to Bardel’s 2018 Apprenticeship graduates: Cassidy Butler and Kerel Alaas from the Teen Titans Go! 2D Animation program and Julianne Spencer, Sean Eng, Miriam Orel and Lina Le from the 44 CATS Storyboard program!

For three months, these artists got a taste of real studio life under the mentorship of Bardel’s Studio Directors: Chad Van de Keere, Series Director on 44 CATS and Johnny Tesoro, Supervising Animation Director for 2D.

These artists worked on real productions, for real clients. They pitched, they briefed, they created and most importantly they discovered their full potential through a career oriented apprenticeship program here at Bardel. Plus they got to be part of a community of individuals who share the same values.

A big thank-you to Nicole Wong from Bardel’s People & Culture department who put this successful program together. In fact, it was so successful two of the graduates (Sean Eng and Miriam Orel) were hired on as Storyboard Revisionists!
