Bardel Entertainment, le studio d’animation \u00e0 l’origine du film Le Proph\u00e8te de Kahlil Gibran, <\/em>nomm\u00e9 aux Annie Awards en 2016, s’est associ\u00e9 \u00e0 Amy Higgins et Todd Casey, sc\u00e9naristes d’une s\u00e9rie anim\u00e9e Apple TV+ \u00e0 venir, et \u00e0 Jason Lust, producteur ex\u00e9cutif de Pinocchio de Guillermo del Toro, pour <\/em>le long m\u00e9trage d’animation en 2D, The Immortal<\/em>. Alex Avagimian r\u00e9alisera le film.<\/p>\n

S’inspirant du riche folklore de la r\u00e9gion natale d’Avagimian, le film suit le parcours remarquable d’Anna, 13 ans, d\u00e9crite comme un \u00a0\u00ab\u00a0loup dans le corps d’une souris\u00a0\u00bb. La famille d’Anna subit une trag\u00e9die lorsqu’elle est captur\u00e9e par l’\u00e9nigmatique Immortel, un berger mystique dont la perte de foi en l’humanit\u00e9, attest\u00e9e par les horreurs de la guerre, le pousse \u00e0 transformer tous les adultes en moutons.<\/p>\n

Selon Lust, \u00ab\u00a0The Immortal<\/em> est une fable tr\u00e8s actuelle pour le monde d’aujourd’hui. Je suis tr\u00e8s fier de produire le premier film d’Alex avec un groupe de personnes aussi incroyablement talentueuses. The Immortal<\/em> est un projet vraiment sp\u00e9cial qui contribuera \u00e0 mettre en lumi\u00e8re d’importantes id\u00e9ologies actuelles tout en utilisant le m\u00e9dium classique de l’animation 2D d’une nouvelle fa\u00e7on. Le moment est peut-\u00eatre le plus propice pour r\u00e9aliser ce film. C’est une histoire qui doit \u00eatre racont\u00e9e parce qu’elle est racont\u00e9e devant les yeux du monde entier.\u00a0\u00bb<\/p>\n

\u00ab\u00a0L’histoire de The Immortel <\/em>tisse des liens entre l’histoire, le folklore et les contes intemporels\u00a0\u00bb, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 M. Chow. \u00ab\u00a0L’\u00e9quipe de Bardel est impatiente de donner vie \u00e0 cette histoire extraordinaire.\u00a0\u00bb<\/p>\n
