Actionscript Programmer
We have an immediate need for a highly qualified and experienced people to join our hard-working team. You should be comfortable in a small team, working in an agile environment, and welcome the opportunity to be inventive and challenged while producing quality entertainment.
Requirements
- Flash 8/9, Actionscript 2 and 3
- Strong knowledge of OOP Architectures
- Excellent Web Development skill set including: HTML, DHTML, CSS, AJAX and site maintenance and troubleshooting
- Strong knowledge of XML/JSON/AMF data formats
- Released three or more commercially successful casual games
- Clear understanding of all phases of the game production pipeline
- Good working knowledge of art integration in a gaming environment, working with designers, and producing in game art assets
- Ability to work in a collaborative, team environment and independently
- Good written and verbal communication skills\ Post-secondary degree in Computer Science or related technical field and 2+ years game production experience or equivalent education/experience
- Passion for making and playing casual computer games, online social sites and virtual worlds
Additional bonus skills and background
- Game Design skills would be an extreme asset
- Good industry knowledge of games including casual games and online worlds
- Experience with Multi-Player Gaming Platforms
- Experience developing, testing, deploying and maintaining open source interactive web applications (including REST API's)
- Unix/Linux command line/ Subversion / Git / etc.
- Working knowledge of dynamics and games physics systems
